In opel corsa the engine temputure is more comparately other motors, What is the remedy to reduce the heat?

Different car have different thermostat opening temperatures. It Varies from approx. 82 degree Centigrade to 92 degree centigrade ...... Now Opel has a high opening temperature of its thermostat. It also has 2 speed Fan which operates at a lower speed when the temperature is below 95degree( approx) and at a very high speed when the temperature exceeds that. Its perfectly safe if the engine is running fine and the coolant is not gushing out of the radiator/reservoir. Thermal effeciency increases with rise in temperature. hence higher the temperature higher the effeciency ( theoretically) . In case you want your engine to run cooler you will need to get the thermal switch of the FAN to be changed for a lower temperature and also the Thermostat valve. As I said earleir if the temperature guage does not show high/hot then you are doing fine and need not worry|||you have not mentioned the year.

anyway check following,

1) thermostat

2)whether radiator clean or choked or leaking

3)whether water pump leaking or going bad.

4)check the fan motor whether in good condition and providing proper suction.

5)check the V belt whether tight.

6)check air con condensor fan motor and relays.

7)whether coolant is sufficient.

8)lastly check yr lub oil condition and level.

u shud suceed.|||correct the following to receive the best from your car

1.coolent

2.radiator

3.fan and belt

last but not least driving

driving at high speed in lower gear or raising engine always without any use may cause overheating
