If Gm were to rid themselves of the Opel, Vauxhall, Holden and Saturn brands how much money would they save?

GM essentially stopped making the Saturn a couple of years ago and closed the Spring Hill, Tennessee factory. What they sell now under the Saturn nameplate is the Opel (which by the way is essentially the same as the Vauxhall) or, in the case of their large SUV, a Chevy. Holden has managed to remain a bit more independent but you can buy one of their cars under the Pontiac name. So they've already saved money by consolidating. There's not much more place to go to save any more.|||I would think that they would lose money. I am not sure though. |||Nope, they don't save.

Research how much it cost GM to axe Oldsmobile.

Dealers do not just celebrate closing their doors for good.
