Mine isnt too bad, but has moldy interior, and bad window seals, but i would like a guestimate from scratch|||Depends on the standard you want at the end.
My 1979 Manta cost around GBP 12,000 to restore a couple of years ago but would have cost about twice as much if I'd had to pay someone to do the bodywork. Just getting it back to an everyday driver might have cost GBP 2000-3000, though.
You'll have to be prepared to look for parts in Germany if you want to use new parts, used parts can probably be picked up through clubs or eBay.
Either way you do it, do it for the love of the car rather than to make money, Manta values aren't high enough yet for that.|||Hi with such an old beast it might be just too much to ask actually, scrap yards are the best bet but some do have on line sites which may make it easier.
reclamation specialist may able to help it was a near classic in it's day.|||Could be quite difficult to access all the parts you need now, if you manage it will be expensive i think|||Well I don't think any of our answers can touch micks lol
