What are some small cars like triumph opel datsun mg fiat but quality cars?

classic cars pre 1977|||An interesting question.

A different way to look at this --%26gt; ANY small sports car that is pre '77 that is still in good shape and running good is a quality car. All the break downs, early mortality and other crap have been weeded out. Survival of the fittest!

Keeping with the 4-cyl theme:

Back then, you would want to look at the Mercedes SL two seater for a quality car though some have an I6. In the late 60's it would be the 230. 250 %26amp; 280. In the '70s it would be the 280, 350 and 450.

Alpha Romero was also known for quality. Being Italian, some would dispute that.

Other than than, you're getting into V-8s and exotics...

Hope this helps.|||I am sorry, but there were not any.

The British, French, and German cars were all temperamental and needed constant attention to keep them on the road.

As for the Datsun, Toyota and Mazda cars, they were like the beer cans they were made from. Use once and throw away.

But at least the British cars have a loyal following and you can still get parts for them.
